NGIS undertook a research project on behalf of The Alnwick Garden with both visitors and non-visitors to the garden.
Carried out as an online survey and receiving more than 500 responses, the project gave The Alnwick Garden an understanding of who the attraction's visitors are and their motivations for visiting.
The project also uncovered the barriers to visiting for the first time or to making multiple visits and included detailed Mosaic analysis. A key output has been the influence of the findings upon The Alnwick Garden's events strategy moving forward.
